Local sharing

To share files locally in the Canon building you can use Windows networking or Samba and map a drive or mount \\clara\common network share. Create your own directory there and put your files in it. It is important to understand that all users have all rights to this shared area so that everyone can modify, move, or delete any file (not only his/her own). Thus, do not rely on the files on CLARA, always keep an extra copy of everything you put there and you do not want to loose and do not use CLARA as a backup server!

Remote sharing

To share files with the outside world, you can

if you are not directly connected to the Canon LAN network (note that the size of uploaded file is limited to 2 MB). The same warning as above applies to this shared folder as well.
