The system datat (the operating system and applicoations) are automatically backed up once a week (on a weekend). The home directories of all clusters are backed up daily and an actual and one previous version of all files is kept. The backup usually starts at a midnight.
It is possible to recover a lost file from a backup only if it was not deleted more than approx 36 hours ago. To try to find a backup copy of any file please contact the administrator.
