Mailing lists
To distribute news and information among all those who can be interested in, there were created several mailing-list covering the most frequent topics in the theretical chemistry departments. The mailing lists are hosted on the marge server (see list information page).

Usually, users are subscribed by the administrator when they get an account on some local server and/or cluster and unsubscribed when the accounts are deleted.
The lists are configured as private - only the members of the list are allowed to send messages to them. SOme lists are even more restricted and reqeust an approval from the list administrator to distribute a message.
